Accessibility features

We have tried to make our web pages as accessible as possible to all users and we fully support the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

Accesskeys

An accesskey system is used on these web pages to assist with navigation by using keyboard shortcuts. To use this system, press (and hold) the Alt key* together with the appropriate accesskey. This locates and highlights the relevant link. In some browsers, particularly Internet Explorer, you may then need to press Enter to go to that linked page. Some accesskeys are shown underlined.

The accesskeys use on these pages are:

  • Alt + 0: This accessibility features page
  • Alt + h: This site home page
  • Alt + c: Principal contacts in the consortium
  • Alt + s: About the science involved in the project
  • Alt + p: About our research publications
  • Alt + n: News and information
  • Alt + e: About the events we hold
  • Alt + l: Useful links
  • Alt + u: Information for consortium members (password protected)
  • Alt + i: Information for industrial club members (password protected)

* Note: Macintosh users should use the Control key instead of the Alt key.

Adjusting the text size

To increase the font size of the text on our pages: go to the 'View' menu of your internet browser, select 'Text Size', then change it from the default size of 'Medium' to the size that suits your needs.

Alternatively, use the tool at the top right of each page ( A  A  A).
